Rooted in Ancient Wisdom, Energizing the Body, and Awakening Your True Self

Awaken & Rise with Kundalini

Kundalini is a powerful yet gentle practice that weaves together breath, movement, sound, and stillness to support deep nervous system healing and personal transformation. It’s not about pushing or performing—it’s about softening into yourself, creating space to listen, release, and remember. Each practice is designed to help you regulate your energy, shift stuck patterns, and reconnect with your most authentic expression. Over time, Kundalini helps you feel more grounded, clear, and awake to your own inner wisdom. It’s less about becoming someone new and more about coming home to who you’ve always been.

Rooted in ancient yogic traditions, Kundalini has its origins in the Vedic texts of India and has been practiced for thousands of years as a pathway to expanded awareness and inner awakening. The word kundalini refers to a dormant energy believed to rest at the base of the spine, often symbolized as a coiled serpent. Through intentional practices—like breathwork (pranayama), mantra, movement (kriya), and meditation—this energy is gradually awakened and guided through the body's energetic centers, or chakras. Historically, Kundalini was taught in more esoteric settings, but today it’s shared more openly as a tool for nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and spiritual connection. While its roots are deep and sacred, its benefits are incredibly relevant to modern life—helping us meet ourselves with compassion, clarity, and presence.

Typical Kundalini Class

Physical Flow

Kundalini warm-ups and kriyas use intentional movement, breath, and posture to awaken energy, clear blocks, and support the body in feeling strong, open, and alive.

  • Warms and strengthens the body

  • Grounds your energy and builds stamina

  • Clears tension and opens energetic flow

  • Deepens connection between body and mind

Meditation

Meditation in Kundalini blends breath, awareness, and often a mantra or mudra to guide you inward. Each one has a purpose—whether it’s calming the mind, boosting intuition, or letting go of fear.

  • Soothes the mind: Eases stress and softens overwhelm.

  • Sharpens clarity: Supports focus, intuition, and aligned choices.

  • Balances emotions: Brings steadiness and emotional ease.

  • Deepens awareness: Builds connection to your inner truth and spirit.

Mantra

Mantras are sacred sounds that help shift your energy and center your mind.In Kundalini yoga, they’re often chanted in Gurmukhi, carrying vibrational power that uplifts your spirit and elevates your awareness.

  • Raises Your Vibration: Sound shifts energy and creates a clearer space within.

  • Activates Intention: Helps align with the purpose behind your practice.

  • Builds Focus: Gives your mind something to anchor to.

  • Opens You Up: Connects you to something bigger, bringing calm and clarity.

Why It’s Worth It

With consistent guidance and a tailored plan, this investment becomes a powerful step toward unlocking your fullest potential—one that ripples through your mind, body, and spirit.

A 40-day sadhana is a journey, and my first experience was nothing like I expected. Here’s what it taught me:

When I started my first 40-day sadhana, I thought I’d love it. I was excited to use my voice in mantra practice and felt uplifted by the energy it brought afterward. For the first half, I genuinely enjoyed it, soaking in the rhythm and vibration each day. But then something shifted. Suddenly, I hated it. I wanted to quit, to walk away from the commitment I had made. I found myself doing the bare minimum just to get through each session, frustrated and disconnected.
I tried everything to fix the feeling—different times, different approaches—but nothing helped until I allowed myself to truly rest. That’s when everything changed. It was like a release of pressure; I could finally breathe and simply exist again. The last stretch of the practice became easier, not because the challenge disappeared, but because I found acceptance and peace in the process.
When the final day arrived, it felt like saying goodbye to a companion. Now, when I repeat the mantra, it resonates deeper than before. There’s a sense of comfort in hearing it, a safety in its vibration, and an appreciation for the patience and acceptance it taught me. Everyone’s journey with a sadhana is different, but for me, it was a lesson that even the easiest things can become hard—and that’s where the growth happens. The challenge is meant to push us, and when we embrace it, the rewards are profound.

Slow & Surrender with Yin

Rooted in the teachings of Paul Grilley and further evolved through Sarah Powers, Yin Yoga invites you to slow down and settle into longer-held, passive poses. Unlike active (yang) practices that build heat and strength, yin targets the deeper connective tissues — the fascia, ligaments, and joints — to create space, hydration, and mobility over time.

Think of it as lay-down stretching with purpose. It’s not about pushing or performing — it’s about softening, feeling, and listening. And while the body might appear still, there’s a quiet unfolding happening beneath the surface.

This practice is especially helpful for:

  • Releasing deep physical tension

  • Supporting joint health and flexibility

  • Cultivating emotional balance and nervous system regulation

  • Deepening mindfulness and meditation

You might come for the stretch, but stay for the exhale.

Yin teaches us patience, presence, and the power of slowing down in a world that rarely pauses.

You don’t need to be flexible or experienced — just willing to meet yourself as you are.

Typical Yin Class

Settle In (Meditation & Grounding)

Begin seated or lying down, focusing on breath and sensation. Sometimes includes breathwork, intention-setting, or guided stillness.

  • Mental – Calms the mind, shifts from doing to being.

  • Emotional – Creates inner space to feel and release.

Stretch & Hold (Main Sequence)

Floor-based poses held for 3-5 minutes with props and support. Each pose targets deep connective tissues and energetic pathways.

  • Physical – Improves joint mobility and fascia health.

  • Energetic – Supports meridians, subtle energy flow (Qi/prana).

Release & Rest (Savasana/Integration)

Gentle recline into final rest. Body fully supported, allowing stillness and integration.

  • Nervous System – Activates parasympathetic rest-and-digest.

  • Spiritual – Encourages presence, surrender, and inner peace.
